Orphan Black Gets Season 4 Renewal

Orphan Black has been renewed by BBC America for a fourth season, just a few episodes into the start of Season 3. The cult favorite clone intrigue show, led by the powerhouse performance of Tatiana Maslany, debuted its Season 3 premiere to 1.1 million viewers on BBC America.

Season 4 has been commissioned for an additional 10 episodes from Temple Street Productions and is expected to air in 2016. Co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson took to social media to express their excitement:

“We’re thrilled to be moving forward with season four of the Orphan Black saga. Huge thanks to our partners Temple Street Productions, and to BBC AMERICA and Space. We’re extremely excited about where our story lines are going, and look forward to riding the rollercoaster with our amazing fans #CloneClub.”

The current season also got a ratings boost by being broadcast on AMC and all of the network’s sisters channels as a result of a partnership with BBC America. In addition to the stable of clones Maslany masterfully plays, Season 3 also introduced a new set of militaristic male clones played by Ari Millen.
