Arnold is getting back in action with The Last Stand, but his former box-office rival and Expendables costar also has another bullet-riddled adventure in the works. Sylvester Stallone stars in graphic novel adaptation Bullet to the Head, which finds 48 Hours director Walter Hill behind the camera for the first time in years. Check out the first look, courtesy of IGN.
Based on a graphic novel, Bullet to the Head tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.
This looks like pretty standard fare, but the prospect of Stallone trading fisticuffs with Conan the Barbarian‘s Jason Momoa should be enough to get excited about. Also, at 66 years old, there’s absolutely no reason that Stallone should be in the kind of shape he’s in. It’s ludicrous.
Bullet to the Head opens on February 1, 2013.
