After making its world premiere at the 2013 Phoenix Film Festival and taking home the award for Best Screenplay, Paul Osborne’s Favor went on to become a huge hit at film festivals across the nation. One year later, the film is finally headed out of the festival circuit and into your homes, with a VOD release scheduled for April 22.
Favor was one of our favorite films from last year’s Phoenix Film Fest, alongside Zak Forsman’s Down and Dangerous, and we’re pleased to bring you the trailer for the film in preparation for its VOD release. If you like what you see, follow this link to lock in your iTunes preorder. And stay tuned to the Drinks and Discourse podcast, where Paul and Zak will be joining us in a few weeks.
FAVOR is a suspense drama based on the old saying, “A friend helps you move; a good friend helps you move a body,” and stars Blayne Weaver (“6 MONTH RULE”), Patrick Day, Christina Rose, Cheryl Nichols and horror/sci-fi icon Jeffrey Combs (“RE-ANIMATOR”). The film was written and directed by Paul Osborne (“OFFICIAL REJECTION), produced by Conspicuous Pictures and features score by Joe Kraemer (“JACK REACHER”, “WAY OF THE GUN”).
Production was funded largely through a Kickstarter campaign and distribution comes following a lengthy film festival run and limited theatrical release. Gravitas Ventures acquired FAVOR at the Austin Film Festival.
