As with any new monster movie reboot, fans salivate at the opportunity to either rip apart the new look, or praise the update to the designs they love (usually the “rip apart” option). Today, Empire unveiled their new Godzilla cover that gives the first full look at the beast, and it seems pretty faithful to its “man in suit” beginnings, while adding a bit of flourish to the realism of the design. All in all, a pretty good sign that the project seems way better suited to bring Godzilla back to the masses than it’s 90s predecessor. Check out the cover below:
