With The Avengers: Age of Ultron preparing to shoot in the coming months, some of the finer details are beginning to trickle down, and now we know one other cast member poised to make their return. Cobie Smulders, who portrayed Agent Maria Hill in the first film, as well as in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the forthcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, revealed to IGN today that she will reprise her role in the Avengers sequel.
“I’ll tell you, I’m excited about it. I know everything there is to know, but I’m not saying anything about it — until literally the movie’s out on DVD. Then I’ll be like, “Wasn’t that a great part?” But I’m very excited. Joss Whedon is the best man on the planet.”
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015.
