During Kevin Smith’s annual Comic-Con Q&A session in Hall H, the director announced that his distribution label, the Kevin Smith Movie Club, had recently signed a deal to release The Dirties, a Slamdance Grand Jury prize winner featuring an interesting and controversial spin on the found-footage genre, with an anti-bullying message. The film’s trailer was revealed to the Hall H audience, and has now made its way online.
Sure to spark plenty of controversy, The Dirties will hit theaters and VOD on October 4, 2013.
