The sequel to last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is currently filming, and a batch of leaked set photos has given us our first look at Gary Anthony Williams in the role of Bebop, and WWE wrestler Sheamus – also known as Stephen Farrelly – as Rocksteady.
These photos come courtesy of The Daily Mail, whose eagle-eyed photographers were on-hand to catch some of the action as shooting continues in New York. The set photos show the characters in their human form, prior to the mutations that turn them into a warthog and a rhinoceros, respectively. Check out the first TMNT 2 Bebop and Rocksteady photos below.
In addition to our first looks at Bebop and Rocksteady, these photos also reveal the return of Shredder, this time played by Brian Tee, and an early glimpse of Brittany Ishibashi as Shredder’s daughter, Karai. No word on why both of these roles have been recast for the sequel.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will also feature Tyler Perry as the mad scientist, Baxter Stockman, along with Arrow star Stephen Amell as the vigilante Casey Jones. Megan Fox and Will Arnett will reprise their roles from the original film.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is currently in production in New York, with a release date scheduled for June 3, 2016.
