Stephen Hawking is one of the most fascinating minds of modern times and his story is being told in the upcoming biopic The Theory of Everything – and we’ve got the first poster. The film stars Eddie Redmayne (Les Misérables) as Hawking and Felicity Jones (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) as the woman he fell in love with, Jane Wilde.
The film is inspired by the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Hawking and centers around their relationship, Hawking’s triumphs in physics and his illness diagnosis. You can check out the poster below:
The Theory of Everything is directed by Academy Award Winner James Marsh (Man on Wire) and the cast is rounded out by the always great David Thewlis (Harry Potter), Charlie Cox (the new Daredevil), Academy Award Nominee Emily Watson, and Simon McBurney. I must say this is a gorgeous trailer and it seems the film will pack quite an emotional wallop. Stephen Hawking is an extraordinary individual and learning more about his life certainly seems worthy of an epic motion picture. The cast looks strong, so our fingers are crossed The Theory of Everything pulls it off. We;ll find out when the film hits theaters nationwide on November 7.
