We’re just a couple of months away from the 2015 SXSW Film Festival, and earlier today the South by Southwest Film Conference announced that this year’s event will kickoff with Brand: A Second Coming as the Opening Night film. It will also mark the world premiere of the documentary by filmmaker Ondi Timoner, whic follows comedian, author and activist Russell Brand’s evolution “from addict & Hollywood star to unexpected political disruptor & newfound hero to the underserved. Brand is criticized for egomaniacal self-interest as he calls for revolution.”
Alongside the press release comes the first teaser image for Brand: A Second Coming, which you can see below.

A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story (World Premiere)
