Spoiler: Rumored Details on the 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Villains

Just in case the two previous stories about Star Wars: Episode VII weren’t enough for you, we’ve got another one, and this might be the biggest one yet. Strap yourselves in for this one, because it’s pretty crazy. Latino Review has a lengthy post about the Episode VII plot points that have (allegedly) been revealed so far, as well as a new revelation of their own regarding the primary villain – or villains. Here’s what they’re saying:

The Inquisitors are the villains of Star Wars: Episode VII and the name of the main villain in Star Wars: Rebels. The Inquisitors are defenders of the Sith Order and they’ve been around for a long time. Just how long is what turns Episode VII’s story on its head.

The piece goes on to claim that Luke Skywalker has been captured by the Inquisitors, and when he is finally rescued by the rest of the heroes, his explanation triggers a flashback (the first in the history of the Star Wars films, as /Film points out) that will feature Billie Lourd as a young Princess Leia – not as Leia’s daughter, as rumors have suggested – and that the Inquisitors will be seen serving a greater master: Darth Vader.

Yes, that means Darth Vader will appear in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Aside from the flashback sequence, do the Inquisitors have a leader in the present-day timeline of the film? Badass Digest says they do.

There’s a main Inquistor villain (I don’t know his name) Want to know what he looks like? He wears a black robe. His eyes are deep red. And half of his face is metal. He’s a cyborg. That was his hand in the picture JJ Abrams shared with the note about A Force For Change.

But that’s not all. Indie Revolver, who already dropped some impressive Star Wars: Episode VII news earlier today, has a pretty big reveal about the leader of the Inquisitors:

It’s true that the main villain of Episode VII is a Sith Inquisitor. He’s tall and thin and terrifyingly creepy, with glowing red eyes to match his red lightsaber. He’s got some robotic upgrades, like Vader – but no mask. The cybernetic bits weave in and out of him. He’s got a human upper lip, a steel jaw… and the robotic hand that JJ Abrams posted an image of. As LR mentioned, we’ll see flashbacks in this movie which will show us Princess Leia as a young girl and Vader’s involvement with the Sith during his prime. This inquisitor has a fascination Vader through the movie’s timeline as well though – just look how he stares at Vader’s shattered helmet in this image:

This photo appears to be another piece of Star Wars: Episode VII concept art, much like the photos of the Stormtroopers and Han Solo that were released earlier today. And this image certainly seems to fit the description that Latino Review and Indie Revolver each posted on their respective sites – plus, with the Inquisitors also being confirmed as the villains of the Star Wars: Rebels animated series, this neatly ties everything together while also rewriting the Star Wars canon as we’ve always known it.

So what do you think? Is all of this Star Wars: Episode VII news legit? Or will it soon be debunked by Disney and Lucasfilm? Either way, we’re excited about everything we’re hearing, and this should foster plenty of discussion amongst fans over the next few days.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be released on December 18, 2015.
