'Spectre' Trailer: I Always Knew Death Would Wear a Familiar Face

Bond is back yet again and Spectre, the next installment in the 007 franchise, has at long last revealed its first teaser via the official site 007.com. Get those shaken, not stirred, martinis ready and check out the teaser trailer below:

That’s a pretty fantastic teaser because it does exactly that: tease. I love the instrumentation of the Bond melodies sounding ominous, looming throughout the teaser. I also really dig the Skyfall continuity and the continued insight into Bond’s background. Looks like Spectre is going to be some creepy ‘Court of Owls’ type of fraternity that wants Bond to join? I’m not familiar with the history of Spectre in the books or the old films, but I’m intrigued by what was presented here – especially with shadowy Christoph Waltz addressing the members.

Here’s the official synopsis for Spectre:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

Spectre hits theaters Nov. 6th, 2015.
