Despite having a huge cast of characters already, it seems Bryan Singer still isn’t satisfied with the X-Men: Apocalypse roster. Today, the director announced another addition to the cast: newcomer Lana Condor, who will portray Jubilee.
The news comes via Singer’s Instagram, where he posted the following photo of the actress:
Condor joins an already impressive cast that includes returning stars James McAvoy (Professor Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne (Moira McTaggart), and Evan Peters (Quicksilver), as well as newcomers Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse).
There are also rumors that Channing Tatum could make his first appearance as Gambit in this film, and that Ryan Reynolds may drop in for a Deadpool cameo. And of course, there are some who expect Hugh Jackman to pop back up as Wolverine, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see that, either.
X-Men: Apocalypse will open on May 27, 2016.
