Kick-Ass proved that comic book creator Mark Millar and director Matthew Vaughn were a great team, and now they’re reuniting for another adaptation of Millar’s work with Kingsman: The Secret Service. We’ve already seen one trailer for the film, about an experienced spy who plucks a troubled youth (Taron Egerton) off the streets of London and begins grooming him for a decidedly different lifestyle.
But this new clip is much more exciting, showing off some of the action sequences that resonated with Comic-Con audiences earlier this year. Check out the new Kingsman: The Secret Service trailer below.
This is mostly good stuff here, although some of the action seems a little bit on the sillier side, such as the last hooligan in the pub doing a backflip when Colin Firth’s character subdues him. But overall, this feels like it could be a lot of fun, especially with Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Caine and Mark Strong rounding out the supporting cast.
Kingsman: The Secret Service hit theaters on February 13, 2015.
Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
