We got our first look at Hail, Caesar! all the way back in October, with the first trailer for the new comedy from Oscar-winning directors Joel and Ethan Coen. With just a few weeks left until release, another trailer for the duo’s spin on the Golden Age of Hollywood has made its way online.

After dabbling in more serious and somber affairs with their last two efforts, it’s great to see the Coens return to something a bit more comedic. And this clip, which is mostly just a single scene between a frustrated director (Ralph Fiennes) and a young actor with a pronounced Southern drawl (Alden Ehrenreich), sets the tone perfectly for what to expect when the film hits theaters next month.
The first trailer gave a clear indication that Josh Brolin’s “fixer” would be the central character in Hail, Caesar!, but there are so many talented performers among the cast that we can expect plenty of scenes to be stolen right out from under him.
With an amazing ensemble that also includes George Clooney, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum, Hail, Caesar! opens on February 5.
Four-time Oscar®-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, True Grit, Fargo) write and direct Hail, Caesar!, an all-star comedy set during the latter years of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum, Hail, Caesar! follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer who is presented with plenty of problems to fix.
