'Gotham' Unveils Eight New Character Posters

The media onslaught since the announcement of the Gotham TV series on Fox has been pretty steady. Today, fans got an even closer look at the heroes and villains of the new Batman-themed show in the form of eight character headshots via EW (who is on a roll today with exclusive photos). The whole extended cast is represented, from Jim Gordon all the way down to lil’ Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy. Check out the Gotham poster gallery below:

Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/Catwoman David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne Clare Foley as Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy

I have to say for a show full of potential, these are probably the least impressive looks at Gotham thus far. The images look badly Photoshopped, with some faces clearly not even fitting the bodies. The tagline “The Good. The Evil. The Beginning.” isn’t exactly the most inspired as well, but these posters are certainly not enough to detract from my overall excitement for the project. We’re all keeping our fingers crossed for a screening of the pilot episode at Comic-Con next month.

Gotham premieres this Fall on Fox.
