The 2012 Phoenix Comicon wrapped up yesterday, and one of the highlights from the show was a Q&A panel with Jon Bernthal, who portrayed Shane during the first two seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead. The Nerd Repository was on hand for the discussion, and we have a few clips for you to enjoy. Up first, Bernthal gives a few details on his next project, L.A. Noir, which is currently in production and scheduled to air in 2013.

Next, Bernthal discusses his last day on the set of The Walking Dead, and his decision not to say goodbye to his fellow cast members.

And finally, Bernthal reveals an alternate version he and costar Andrew Lincoln pitched to the writing team for Shane’s final scene in The Walking Dead.

One last little tidbit – when asked about characters he would like to play in the future, Bernthal mentioned that he’s become addicting to reading Preacher. Let the speculation begin.
