Aubrey Plaza has been on the verge of breaking into the comedy mainstream for a long time, with memorable appearances in Funny People and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, as well as a supporting role on hit series Parks and Recreation. She also showcased tremendous range in the indie film Safety Not Guaranteed, but it might be her next project that cements her status as one of the brightest comedic talents in Hollywood.

In The To-Do List, Plaza stars as a high school valedictorian who decides to spend the summer before college experimenting with her sexuality. Expect a raunchy teen sex comedy in the vein of Superbad, but from a female’s perspective, and featuring a talented supporting cast that includes Andy Samberg, Donald Glover, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Connie Britton, Alia Shawkat, Bill Hader, and Clark Gregg. Thanks to Yahoo for this hilarious red-band clip.

The To-Do List hits theaters on July 26, 2013.

Set in 1993, valedictorian Brandy Klark wants to shed her uptight image before college, so she assembles a to do list of all the “activities” she missed out on in high school. Quickly realizing that she’s way out of her depth, Brandy solicits her best friends, older sister and burnt-out boss for their help and advice. If the group is going to complete the list by September they’ll need plenty of imagination and very open minds.
