After the success of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, we’ve been anxiously awaiting another comedy written by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, and it’s finally headed our way this month with the release of The Five-Year Engagement. Directed by Stoller, the film tells the story of Tom (Segel) and Violet (Emily Bunt), whose pending nuptials are continually postponed by the circumstances of their busy lives. Have a look at the red-band trailer below.
After seeing that clip, it should come as no surprise that the film is produced by Judd Apatow – his signature blend of raunch and heart is clearly on display here. The Five-Year Engagement hits theaters on April 27, 2012.
