After a 10-second teaser earlier this week, Marvel has officially unveiled their 30-second Super Bowl spot for The Avengers. Not only did the footage look fantastic, but Marvel has posted an extended version of the trailer online, which you can check out below.
This trailer finally gives us our first real look at The Hulk in action, and trust me when I saw that it was worth the way. Watching Bruce Banner’s alter ego fly through the air and smack down fighter planes is total fanboy heaven. In fact, this entire trailer might very well be the most exciting 70 seconds I’ve experienced all year – much to the chagrin of my girlfriend.
The Avengers will assemble on May 4, 2012.
