‘Marvel’s Iron Fist’ Official Trailer: What the Hell Does that Mean?

Marvel’s Iron Fist, the final Defender before the big team-up, is just over a month away from his debut series on Netflix. The marketing machine is about to kick into high gear leading up to our introduction to the martial arts badass with the magic atomic fist, and Marvel and Netflix have released the first official full length trailer for the series.

Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. This Netflix original series follows the successful release of Marvel’s Daredevil (Season 1 & 2), Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage, and future release Marvel’s The Defenders to premiere only on Netflix. The action-drama will premiere with thirteen (13) one-hour episodes globally on Netflix on March 17, 2017.

Finn Jones plays the final Defender and The Iron Fist, Danny Rand, and is joined by Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing), David Wenham (Harold Meachum), Jessica Stroup (Joy Meachum), Tom Pelphrey (Ward Meachum), Carrie-Ann Moss (Jeri Hogarth) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple). Marvel’s Iron Fist is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Scott Buck (Dexter, Six Feet Under) and Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television.

Marvel’s Iron Fist will premiere with 13 one-hour episodes on March 17, 2017, exclusively on Netflix.
