Japan launch date, price, and lineup for PS Vita confirmed.


The folks over at Joystiq were fortunate enough to be at Sony’s pre-TGS press conference, and they’re reporting that the PS Vita will launch in Japan on December 17, 2011.  Pre-orders will be available beginning on October 15, with the 3G-equipped model going for ¥29,980 ($389.80 USD), and ¥24,980 ($324.80 USD) for the Wi-Fi only model.

In addition, Andriasang confirmed the launch lineup for the system.
