Quantic Dream is known for creating unique, interactive gameplay experiences with titles such as Indigo Prophecy or 2010’s acclaimed PS3 hit Heavy Rain. Their next project might very well be their most ambitious endeavor yet, as the developer states that Beyond: Two Souls will follow its central character throughout 15 years of her life, with player decisions impacting the fate of protagonist Jodie Holmes.
While Quantic Dream has used performance capture to great effect with its previous games, they’re upping the ante this time around to ensure the best possible quality. During Sony’s E3 press conference, the developer announced that Jodie Holmes will be portrayed by Academy Award nominee Ellen Page, and the first gameplay footage was revealed.
