The cast and creators of FX’s popular vampire drama The Strain took the stage at Comic-Con today to talk about the upcoming third season, and fans who attended the panel were rewarded in spectacular fashion with the debut of “Vamps Boom,” a rap video starring cast members Kevin Durand, Miguel Gomez and David Bradley.
If you’ve ever dreamed of watching the man who portrayed Argus Filch, Walder Frey and Abraham Setrakian spit some dope rhymes while surrounded by a bevy of vampire backup dancers, then today is your lucky day. Check out the “Vamps Boom” music video below.
We’ll have more coverage of The Strain, including interviews with the cast and creators, a bit later in the weekend. Season 3 of The Strain premieres Sunday, August 28 at 10 PM, exclusively on FX.
As season three of The Strain begins, New York City is a battleground. Written off by the federal government, the people of New York City must fight for survival on their own. The question is: who will win, humans of strigoi?
Our heroes win victories, but are not winning the war. Beset by personal conflicts – betrayal, disappointment, paranoia – our group is splintering… Meanwhile, the Master is close to executing an irreversible transformation of the world. Is there still hope to save the city and humanity?
